The Pyramid was first presented to us eighteen years ago by the late Sean Carroll while we picnicked on the boulders of Great Falls, VA, right outside of Washington, DC. As we transcribed the first lines of the book, we toasted to our good fortune. Even then, we knew that our meeting was destiny - that we were lead to each other, not only to find comfort in having kindred spirits near, but to bring these stories to the world - to let others, who sense that there is more to life than meets the eye, know that they are not alone.
The Sunsisters are grateful for the gifts of these books
– all reminders that we are actors on the stage of life.
The Pyramid
Sean and Willow Underground and their children Sidney and Stu are
witches (intuitive spiritualists) who regularly channel spirits over their classic, cosmic telephone -
their good, old-fashioned Ouija Board. The family generally keeps their practices under wraps,
fearing ridicule and modern-day persecution amid the backdrop of conservative Washington, D.C.
Still, they can’t help the occasional cleansing ceremony around their neighborhood, carrying white
candles and chanting incantations. One might say there is something a little different about them.
Longtime neighbors, twins Craytea and Saidea Vines are unaware of the Underground’s practices; still,
they open the same doors to the spirit world. Friendships begin to feel like fate, and the eccentric
Undergrounds and the girls collaborate, channeling books. Their success leads to travel, and in London
they befriend two more like-minded souls, British brothers who call themselves Rytes and Five…
The Pyramid is the romantic and heart-wrenching journal of this “coven” of modern-day witches: musicians, dancers, artists –
friends and psychics who blur the lines between life and death, science and magic. Without dragons to slay or demons to banish, these
young witches strive to find happiness despite an even more powerful adversary: everyday life.
The Sessions
Although much of our communication is informal, we often recieve words of wisdom in the form of poetry - subject to interpretation. We call this poetry "Sessions."
Tides
The third book of The Pyramid series.
